This Face Shop nose treatment is a peel off mask formulated for an ultra cleansing experience. The white clay will penetrate deep down through layers of skin to eliminate and dissolve the agents that cause blackheads stopping their growth. Leave your skin with a healthy looking glow with this treasure of skin care products. Formerly known as the Blackhead EX Nose Clay Mask / New Zealand Volcanic Clay Black Head Clay Nose Pack / Blackhead Out White Clay Nose Pack.
How to Use:
Be sure to cleanse your nose area before application of this clay mask. After cleansing, pat dry and apply a even but thick layer of the nose clay mask to the nose area. If it's too thin, it will make taking the mask off difficult later. Now get yourself a book because this takes awhile to work its magic. Let sit for 10 to 15 minutes while the mask sets. While it sets, try not to make any large facial movements as it may disrupt the contact surface between your skin and the mask. You'll know it's ready when the mask is dry and takes on a smooth but rubbery feeling. Peel mask off and rinse area with warm water. For best results, use toner or other pore tightening cream after mask.

I have pretty large pores and oily skin. I didn't have any visible blackheads when I used this product but I always seem to have the gunk in my pores. I used this on my nose and chin and no more gunk! I applied it pretty thick and didn't mind waiting for it to dry (15-20 min). Once I peeled it off I noticed it was similar to the Biore pore strips pulling everything out of my pores even the tiny hairs. My skin was instantly smooth. It did leave a bit of residue that easily washed off. I will be using this stuff weekly!

I've used this four times, hoping that if I used a different amount or used other products before using it that would change the outcome, but no such luck. The first time I used it, it did not remove a single black head. (That I could tell, maybe it did remove one of those really little ones and I just couldn't see it.) The only time I could tell it had any effect was when I used the black head out oil gel right before it. I saw two removed black heads and a bunch of those teeny tiny hairs that you forget are even on your face until you look that closely. So my face did feel very smooth after that, but was unfortunately still dotted with blackheads. It is also very thick and sticky just so you are aware (if you get it) when you open it and don't get it under your nails, and on your glasses, and stuck in your hair like me.

I don't usually have blackheads but I tend to get them when I lack sleep. I decided to try this out. I left the product on for a decent amount of time. However, when I removed it, I noticed the product did not remove my blackheads. Instead it just brought up more blackheads to the surface. I would not recommend this product.

I was using it as a clay face mask for blackhead removal, so I may have been using it wrong this whole time but I think it's okay. It's pretty thick in texture and it takes a while for it to dry. I put on more layers because if not I feel like it's too thin to peel off or it'll come off in patches. I'm not sure how much of the blackheads I necessarily got out, but I would buy it again.

This product is good if you need to clear a large area of pores like the forehead and the chin. The negative sides are it is quite messy to clean up and the result is not as good as strips.

There is nothing natural in this product. The name was misleading. It is not a clay, and it is not NZ volcanic clay. Smells like PVA glue. Here is the list of ingredients: http://www.cosdna.com/eng/cosmetic_64e289304.html
Ah, actually PVP glue is second ingredient in the list. So, it explains the smell. "The clay" consists of water, glue and other additives. If you wanted a natural product, this "clay" is not for you. If you do not mind smearing glue over your face, it might be cheaper just to buy a bottle of PVA glue from "Staples" Might be cheaper in the end, and at least you know what you are buying. No misleading clay pots and NZ volcanos on the bottle.

A lot of people are complaining that the clay is too thick, but I think it's a matter of how much you use. I learned it the hard way; if you smear it across your face too thinly, it's going to be hard to take off. If it's too thick, it's not only going to take FOREVER to dry, but it's not going to be as effective when you peel it off. Trial and error is the best way to go and once you get the right consistency for you, I promise you that it's super effective!
One of my most highly - recommended products ever!

I've used both the nose strips as well as the mask and while I like the fact that the mask can be spread to other parts of my face, I find it too sticky and thick to apply. I prefer the nose strips and feel more satisfied by its pore cleansing effects than the mask.

This product is a thick, sticky clay that you can spread wherever you want. It is definitely difficult to apply, but it is still one of my favorite blackhead removal products. I have very sensitive skin and most strips were rough and irritated my skin when being pulled off. This also hurts to pull off, but can be contained only where I need it (I get blackheads in one particular spot on my nose) and can be easily washed off with a washcloth if I can't deal with ripping it off. Works just as well as strips, but in a much better format. I have had mine for over a year and have not even close to run out even though I used to go through a box a month of pore strips. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

I found this product way too thick to spread effectively where I needed it. It was uneven and difficult to remove and stuck more to my fingertips than my face. A good idea in theory but a disappointment in practice.
